Peter Crithary is a strategic business development executive with deep expertise in cinematic multicam, live production ecosystems, and high-end rental channel activation across the Americas. With over two decades of experience leading go-to-market strategies for top-tier imaging technologies, Peter helps manufacturers, rental houses, and creators scale revenue and visibility across film, television, and live events.
While at Sony, Peter led the development of the VENICE cinema camera system, including the VENICE Extension System—a breakthrough platform used to capture the aerial and cockpit visuals of Top Gun: Maverick in direct collaboration with Director Joseph Kosinski and Cinematographer Claudio Miranda, ASC. He also spearheaded Sony’s camera platform development for Avatar 2 and 3, working alongside James Cameron’s Lightstorm engineering and production teams to meet the franchise’s high-performance stereoscopic demands.
From 2019 to 2025, Peter served as the strategic lead for ARRI’s Live initiative at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, driving cinematic multicam deployment across the Main Stage and Outdoor Theatre in partnership with AEG and Goldenvoice. He also collaborated with the production team behind Billy Joel’s 100th concert at Madison Square Garden, helping deliver Emmy Award–winning results through a tailored multicam workflow.
